Celebrate the Fourth of July In Vermont
Join us for the Fourth of July weekend, as live music, family activities and fireworks return to Stratton Mountain. Mountain Friends and Freedom rocks on Saturday evening and through the night with The Boss Project, outdoor kids activities, hot dog and pie eating contest, fireworks and more. Space is limited and tickets are required.
This year's celebration runs for the duration of the holiday weekend. Kick off your fun on Thursday by enjoying Scenic Lift Rides and hanging in the Village, Mountain Top Yoga will be available Saturday to Monday, and the Running of the Bears 5K makes its way through the Village and around the resort on Sunday morning. It's hard to top a holiday weekend at Stratton Mountain with so much to do!
Once pre-purchased, event tickets may be picked up early at the Guest Services' windows in the main base area.

Mountain Friends and Freedom - July 4
Music, BBQ and Fireworks? Sign us up. Mountain Friends and Freedom is Stratton Mountain's annual Fourth of July Weekend celebration, happening Saturday. There is fun for the whole family with live music, BBQ dinner and fun family activities. The outdoor stage is set for live music by The Boss Project on Saturday, July 4 at 6:30pm
Running of the Bears 5K - July 5
This 5K starts in the Stratton Village and takes place around the resort. Come out with friends and family and complete this friendly 5K to kick off your Fourth of July weekend celebration. The race starts at 9AM, check-in at 8:30am.

- Green Apron Friday Special: $15 Fiddlehead Fish Fry-days, plus specials on Lobster Rolls.
- Benedicts, $5 shakes at Benedicts on Fridays, enjoy a refreshing shake on the outdoor patio.
Saturday, July 4
- Mountain Friends And Freedom: 6pm - 9:30pm - Annual Fourth of July celebration with live music, kid's activities, contests and family fun.
- Fireworks: 9pm - FREE, as gates will open at 8:45pm after Mountain Friends and Freedom for all to see
- Mid Mountain Chairlift Brunch: 10am-1pm. A one-of-a-kind mountain dining experience designed to be as memorable as it is delicious.
- Farmers Market: 10am - 5pm, Stratton Courtyard - Local Crafts, Art, Gifts, Foods & more!
- The North Face Tails and Trails Puppy Parade: 10am - 11:30am, Guided hike to the summit fire tower with other dog owners and four-legged friends
- Mountain Top Yoga: 11am - 12:30pm, strike a mountain pose at the mountain top.
- Kid's Mountain Camp: 8:30am -12pm. Enjoy this one-day version of summer camp on Saturday with kid's Mountain Camp. Ages 3 to 10.
- Adult Tennis Clinics: Open to all levels of play, everyone is sure to get a good workout. Enjoy a variety of clinics held during the day.
Sunday, July 5
- Running of the Bears 5K: 8:30am - 10:30am, Come out and complete this friendly 5K to kick off your July 4 weekend celebration.
- Mountain Top Yoga: 11am - 12:30pm, strike a mountain pose at the mountain top.
- Outdoor Climbing Wall: 10am - 4:30pm
- Adult Tennis Clinics: Open to all levels of play, everyone is sure to get a good workout. Enjoy a variety of clinics held during the day.
- Green Apron's Slow Smoker Sundays; 4pm - 8pm, Pop up BBQ menu with delicious meats right out of the smoker. Kids under 10 eat free with an adult plate (1/1 ratio). Not available to promotional discounts. $30 per adult plate.
