Additional Information
Camp Programs
Programs vary by day, but core group activities focus on mountain exploration, art and science experiments, sports, and swimming*. Program activities may also vary by camper age groups.
OUTDOOR EXPLORATION
Our programs get campers outside, and educate them while they enjoy the natural environment that is Stratton Mountain. We turn the mountain into your child's playground while they take daily hikes to various locations to explore rivers, waterfalls, and ponds.
ART AND SCIENCE EXPERIMENTS
Art classes draw inspiration from the great outdoors and surrounding nature in the Green Mountains. Art projects use natural materials, mixed media, and tie-dye. Our science experiments create fun, hands-on, and interactive experiences that your children will never forget. We supply all materials.
SPORTING ACTIVITIES
We develop young children into lifetime sporting enthusiasts with a proven program of athletic development that teaches our campers the Fundamentals of athletic mobility. Extensive research has shown that the younger children begin with structured movement-based training, the faster they develop athletically. Our program incorporates instruction into fun sessions that will have your child begging to come back to camp. These activities include pickleball, kickball, capture the flag, Slip-N-Slide, or other fun outdoor activities to get the kids in motion.
TEAM BUILDING AND COMPETITION
Teamwork and competition are an integral part of maturing. Our weekly team competitions foster a sense of camaraderie and passion within our campers. They'll strive to do the best for their team and form bonds with fellow campers, making friends for life.
*Full-Day and PM Session campers should come prepared to swim or participate in water-based activities.
