Junior World Cup is our weekend race training program to accommodate experienced racers and skiers new to alpine racing. Through progression of on-snow programming athletes develop skills at an appropriate pace to develop their racing in the VARA Southern Vermont Series, or to begin racing and hone technique in our own Stratton race series. Competitive JWC skiers will train alongside the Travel Competition program and race at partner resorts in the VARA.
Junior World Cup skiers newer to alpine racing will take advantage of the Stratton home race series, which expands to more races with a greater variety of formats and invited teams from other resorts. Competitive racers from all groups will also have opportunities to participate in home races as schedule allows.
Friday training and camp opportunities for all JWC racers will begin in mid-January.
Any U8 skier or any skier who is new to racing should join JWC. Experienced racers U8-U18 may also join JWC. Any prior-year SWSC Alpine athlete who has previously raced in Stratton races or VARA races is eligible for the VARA competition groups in JWC.
Equipment needs for each specific age group are outlined in our communications via Team App. All participants will be required to use Team App.

- Limited Enrollment
- Age group dictated by age on December 31 (ie, U8 is 7 years-old or under on December 31)
- Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA) and United States Ski and Snowboard (USSS) memberships are recommended for all JWC skiers, and required for competitive JWC groups.
- Additional travel expenses and event fees may be required.

Product Rate SWSC Alpine Junior World Cup $3,499 - Price does not include lift ticket.
- All members must have a valid lift ticket, Season Pass or Ikon Pass to participate.

Seasonal Program Cancellation Policy:
- Seasonal Program purchases must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Seasonal Program purchases are non-refundable.
