Included - Trek Slash Demos
As part of your camp registration, you can try the latest mountain bike technology on our new Trek Slash demos. Completely redesigned, the new Slash features a mullet setup (a larger 29" front wheel and a smaller 27.5" rear wheel) and a high-pivot design that provides superior bump absorption and increased stability by creating a rearward axle path. By moving the rear wheel away from obstacles rather than into them, these bikes excel on rough terrain, maintaining speed and providing a more planted, confident feel.
The Stratton Bike shop has a full size run of Trek Slash demos, so try our a new bike, bike size, or wheel configuration during your camp days - one day or both!

Dirt Rock N Root Trainer Bio Kathy

About Kathy Krause
Owner, head coach, and the driving force behind Dirt Rock n Root Training
Kathi’s been around the bike block — from the velodrome and road racing to cyclocross, XC, and finally her true love: downhill. She spent a decade on the Pro DH circuit, stacking up three Masters World Championships, five National titles, and a win at the legendary Kamikaze Downhill.
After 25 years of racing, Kathi shifted gears to coaching and founded Dirt Rock n Root Training in 2011. Since then, she’s been helping riders find their flow and confidence on everything from lift-accessed bike parks to rocky, rooty singletrack. You’ll find her leading clinics at Mountain Creek or running her Technical Trails Series right here in North Jersey.
Her mission? Simple. Get more women on bikes, help them crush fear, and build a community that rides hard and supports harder.
When she’s not coaching, Kathi’s out doing what she loves most — shredding the rocks and roots of NJ or dropping into her home trails at Mountain Creek Bike Park.
