SUMMER TENNIS TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS

During the summer, Stratton becomes a hub of tournament activity in addition to our daily instructional programs. We have tournaments for juniors looking to play more serious tennis, for former and current college pros and players, and for those looking for some social doubles on a holiday weekend.

Registration for summer 2026 will be available online in early April. To register early, or for more information, please email Rob Menzies at rmenzies@stratton.com

UTR TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS
We will be utilizing the powerful Universal tennis program and software for the majority of our tennis tournaments this summer. Registration for all our tournaments and events requires a UTR profile (free to sign up) and payment will be made through the clubs' UTR event page.

Memorial Day Weekend Tennis Festival
May 23-24, 2026
Join us this Memorial Day Weekend to kick off the summer season on the clay courts of Stratton Mountain. Afternoon match play after the morning clinics have finished. Most matches will take place on the clay courts, but we will use the indoor and outdoor hard courts as needed. Round robin competition to offer multiple matches each day

Summer Kick Off Tournament – Prize Money Event
June 6-7, 2026
Our prize money series starts with the summer kick off tournament. Participants will be split into groups by level for even and competitive matches; everyone welcome! The winners of each group will receive prize money depending on how many players were in their group, increasing with each entry.

Stratton Pro Challenge – Prize Money Event
June 20-21, 2026
The second prize money tournament in the summer series. Participants will be split into groups by level for even and competitive matches. The winners of each group will receive prize money depending on how many players were in their group, increasing with each entry and will get to face off against an appropriate member of the pro team.

Fourth of July Weekend Tennis Festival
July 3-5, 2026

Southern Vermont Open – Prize Money Event
July 17-19, 2026
One of Vermont’s largest prize money tennis tournaments on offer, the Southern Vermont Open returns for another year. Singles, doubles and a junior division on offer. Assuming maximum entries, the prize money will be awarded as follows:
Open Singles Champion - $900
Open Singles Runner up - $300
Open Semifinalists - $100
Open Doubles Champions - $100 per team
If there are less than 24 singles entries, prize money will be half the offered amount.
If there are less than 8 doubles entries, prize money will be half the offered amount.

2026 Junior Circuits by Asics Series
Weekend dates available: April 11, April 25, May 23, June 13, June 27, July 11, July 25, August 8, August 22, September 12, September 19 and October 10
We have partnered with UTR to become a host site for the Asics Junior Circuit series, with several weekend dates being available for those juniors looking for competitive play throughout the summer season.
Junior Circuits consist of 3 seasons within the calendar year. Each season (Spring, Summer, Fall) includes qualifying tournaments leading up to the end-of-season District Slams with fun prizes! Players who play in 3 qualifiers within a season will receive priority registration for that season’s District Slam.
