SWSC Snowboard Competition A Team: Freestyle & Freeride

Recognized globally as a resort that helped pioneer the sport and culture of snowboarding, Stratton boasts an unparalleled commitment to the advancement of young snowboarders. Participating athletes will train with top-level coaches on the various terrain to achieve the highest level of athletic progression with specific competition goals and film-related projects. Training will include terrain park and freestyle riding, halfpipe, boardercross and race activity, off-piste, variable terrain, and woods riding in accordance with athletes’ event schedule and goals throughout the season.
- Snowboard Comp A Team is ideal for expert level riders with previous competition experience. Participants should intend on qualifying and attending USASA or IFSA National Championships
- Placement on the A Team is subject to Coach's evaluations at the start of the season.
- Competitions will include regional events within the USASA southern Vermont Series or the IFSA Eastern region along with possible additional events deemed appropriate by the coaching staff and management team.
- Friday programming before Southern Vermont Series USASA events. Exact dates will be updated in the fall when schedules are released. Some training takes place at other resorts
- Additional travel expenses, membership dues and event fees will be required.
- Ages 9-18 snowboard traveling competition program. (Freeride/IFSA comp age minimum is 10 years old)
- Children will be placed into groups at check-in based on age, ability & class size.
- This is an advanced level program. We cannot accommodate novice riders.
- A level of autonomy and self-motivation is required for this program
- Lunch on own (no supervision provided)

- All members must have a valid lift ticket, Season Pass or Ikon Pass to participate.
- Programs run every Saturday and Sunday beginning 12/6/25 and ending 3/29/26.

Hours Meeting Point Saturday & Sunday 8:30am - 11:30am, 60min break*, 12:30pm - 3pm
Base Area - SB Comp Flag Holidays December 26 - 31 8:30am - 11:30am, 60min break*, 12:30pm - 3pm Base Area - SB Comp Flag January 19 8:30am - 11:30am, 60min break*, 12:30pm - 3pm Base Area - SB Comp Flag February 16 8:30am - 11:30am, 60min break*, 12:30pm - 3pm Base Area - SB Comp Flag - All members must have a valid lift ticket, Season Pass or Ikon Pass to participate.
- *Lunch is not provided by this program. Participants will have a 1 hour break to purchase and eat lunch in the lodge.

From easy to ride beginner rental packages to aggressive performance demos, we have the staff to get you into the gear best suited for your riding style.
A season-long lease allows you to bring your gear along with you on all your winter adventures. From your weekly program to a visit to a new mountain, or that next big trip, Stratton has the perfect package to outfit your needs for the slopes this winter.
