      SWSC Freeskiing A Team rich-text, responsive-table

      This advanced competition focused program builds on skills learned in the Freeskiing B Team program with a focused exclusively on terrain park training and competition in the disciplines of Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Rail Jam. Participating athletes will train with top-level coaches to achieve the new levels of athletic progression. Athletes will focus on specific competition goals and film-related projects throughout the season. The schedule includes freeskiing events in the Southern Vermont Series of USASA, and USASA events in New England and New York that SWSC may attend. Athletes will aspire to qualify for the USASA National Championships. Additional membership dues, event fees, and travel expenses will be required.

      • Enrollment is limited
      • Ages 8 - 18 competitive program
      • The program runs weekends and select holidays from December 6 to March 29, see the schedule tab below for full dates.
      • Review the Helpful Information tab below to be sure you have the correct equipment and setup on our team’s communication app.
      • Additional travel fees are required for those who attend National Championships
      • Additional minicamp days are announced on our team’s app for a small fee to add even more on snow time.
      • Parent Après and Presentation will be held on December 6th to get the most out of your program. Details on the team’s app.
      • Mark your calendar for our end of season Freedogger Open and Family Tailgate party on March 28, costumes are encouraged for the most fun!
      • Skiers will be placed into groups at check-in based on age, ability & class size
      • Program Director and Head Coach will post our team's event attendance plan on October 25. USASA Event Registration generally opens November 1.
      • Returning team members please renew your USASA memberships by October 1 to avoid late fees.

          SWSC Freeskiing Comp Team Helpful InfoRMATION & Policies

          SWSC Freeskiing utilizes the Stack Team App for all program news, event & activities calendar, and up to the minute program communications. Please click here to get setup, we will allow access to the mobile app after enrollment is confirmed.

          Helmets required. Skis on, helmets on.

          We recommend twin-tip skis roughly eyebrow height when standing flat. Boots should be slightly softer in flex to allow proper ankle engagement. Ski poles should be slightly shorter than traditional length.
