SWSC Alpine VARA Team is our progressive competitive racing track for U10-U18 skiers, offered in both two-day and three-day configurations. SWSC VARA Team is open to any U10-U12 athlete who has at least one season of previous racing experience in SWSC Alpine or another resort’s seasonal racing program, as well as to all U14-U18 athletes. Additional weekday training and racing opportunities will be available throughout the season, both through SWSC Alpine and in cooperation with Stratton Mountain School.
Fri-Sun VARA Team participants are expected to participate in a limited number of weekday races or clinics taking place outside of the Southern Vermont Council (SVC) region of VARA, in addition to all SVC races. Sat-Sun VARA Team members race SVC events but may choose to train on select Fridays for a daily fee. U14-18 athletes who prefer to train at Stratton and/or pursue high school racing are encouraged to try VARA racing but are not required to do so.
Training for U10-U12 VARA Team athletes will not be available at Stratton on travel race days. U14-U18 athletes who wish to train primarily at Stratton and/or focus on high school racing will have training space at Stratton on VARA travel race days.
Equipment needs for each specific age group are outlined in our communications via Stack Team App. All participants and participant families are required to use Team App and have an account with Admin Ski Racing, and all VARA Team athletes must have memberships with the Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA) and United States Ski and Snowboard (USSS).

Product Rate SWSC Alpine VARA Team U10-U18 Sat-Sun $3,460 SWSC Alpine VARA U10 Fri-Sun $4,580 SWSC Alpine VARA U12 Fri-Sun $4,650 SWSC Alpine VARA Team U14-U18 Fri-Sun $4,750 - Price does not include lift ticket.
- All members must have a valid lift ticket, Season Pass or Ikon Pass to participate.
- Programs run every Saturday and Sunday plus select holidays beginning 12/5/26 and ending 3/27/27. Friday training takes place every Friday beginning on 12/4/26 and ending on 3/19/27. (Single session Friday sign-ups will be available selectively to Sat-Sun participants for a daily fee as staffing allows.)
- Price does not include lift ticket.

- *Lunch is not provided by this program. Participants will have a 1 hour break to purchase and eat lunch in the lodge.

SWSC Alpine VARA Team Helpful Info
Please visit our Stack Team App home page (first link below) for program guides and other essential information - new members should download Team App app and immediately request to join the ’25-26 New Members’ group. SWSC communications will come exclusively through Stack Team App, which also hosts our Training and Race Calendars, our equipment swap, and other essential club resources. All Home Team participants must also have an account with Admin Ski Racing.
