SWSC Alpine VARA Team is our progressive competitive racing track for U10-U18 skiers, offered in both two-day and three-day configurations. All VARA Team skiers train together regardless of which configuration they choose. VARA Team athletes follow a training plan oriented toward regular competition at partner resorts across Vermont. SWSC VARA Team is open to any Alpine athlete who has at least one season of previous racing experience in SWSC Alpine or in another resort’s seasonal racing program.
Additional weekday training and racing opportunities will be available throughout the season, both through SWSC Alpine and in cooperation with Stratton Mountain School. Fri-Sun VARA Team includes a limited number of supported weekday races or clinics for groups U12 and older; Sat-Sun VARA Team skiers may join these sessions or select single-session Fridays for a daily fee as staffing allows. Specific dates for all additional sessions – both included and daily-fee activities – will be published at the start of the training season.
SWSC VARA Team expectations include a commitment to regular training and participation in as many travel races as possible. Training for VARA Team athletes will not be available at Stratton on travel race days.
Equipment needs for each specific age group are outlined in our communications via Stack Team App. All participants and participant families are required to use Team App and have an account with Admin Ski Racing, and all VARA Team athletes must have memberships with the Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA) and United States Ski and Snowboard (USSS).

- Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA) and United States Ski and Snowboard (USSS) memberships are required.
- Accounts with both Stack Team App and Admin Ski Racing are required.
- Additional travel expenses and event fees are required.

Product Rate SWSC Alpine VARA Team U10-U18 Sat-Sun $3,359 SWSC Alpine VARA U10 Fri-Sun $4,239 SWSC Alpine VARA Team U12-U18 Fri-Sun $4,599 - Price does not include lift ticket.
- All members must have a valid lift ticket, Season Pass or Ikon Pass to participate.
- Programs run every Saturday and Sunday plus select holidays beginning 12/6/25 and ending 3/29/26. Friday training takes place every Friday beginning on 12/12 and ending on 3/20. (Single session Friday sign-ups will be available selectively to Sat-Sun participants for a daily fee as staffing allows.)
- Price does not include lift ticket.

SWSC Alpine VARA Team Helpful Info
Please visit our Stack Team App home page (first link below) for program guides and other essential information - new members should download Team App app and immediately request to join the ’25-26 New Members’ group. SWSC communications will come exclusively through Stack Team App, which also hosts our Training and Race Calendars, our equipment swap, and other essential club resources. All Home Team participants must also have an account with Admin Ski Racing.

- Seasonal Program purchases must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Seasonal Program purchases are non-refundable.
