The Stratton Winter Sports Club Coach Apprentice Program (CAP) is designed as an eight-day training course for those interested in joining our SWSC coaching staff. The curriculum will ensure success as a Stratton Winter Sports Club Coach; including ski or snowboard movement analysis, venue & safety protocols, and lesson development specific to working with athletes in a competitive environment. There will be a review of US Ski & Snowboard Level 100 requirements within each SWSC discipline that the apprentice is applying for (Alpine, Freestyle, Free skiing, Snowboarding). The program consists of four weekend sessions that will be designated by the SWSC Program Managers, for a total of eight days.

On Snow Training: 11/29 & 11/30, 12/6 & 12/7

- Lift tickets will be provided during the course.
- Successful candidates will be eligible for hire at the end of the course. Hiring is conditional on attendance, participation and course comprehension.
- Each session covers a portion of the overall training outline developed by our SWSC managers & trainers and is based on US Ski & Snowboard Level 100 standards.
- Attendance at all sessions is required.

- Will receive meeting locations & specific details via email before the program begins.

Please visit our Stack Team App home page (first link below) for program guides and other essential information - new members should download Team App app and immediately request to join the ’25-26 New Members’ group. SWSC communications will come exclusively through Stack Team App, which also hosts our Training and Race Calendars, our equipment swap, and other essential club resources. CAPs will also receive coach communications through SWSC Alpine Staff WhatsApp groups.

CAP Cancellation Policy
Seasonal Program Cancellation Policy:
- Seasonal Program purchases must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Seasonal Program purchases are non-refundable.
- Seasonal Programs are eligible for Seasonal Product Assurance.
