Hatha Yoga 101
Starting a yoga practice can occasionally feel confusing or intimidating, particularly for individuals experiencing chronic muscle tightness and physical tension. Fall in love with yoga in this foundational class designed specifically for absolute beginners and those establishing a regular wellness routine. Participants will learn safe structural alignment, rhythmic breathing techniques, and mindful body awareness through a slow, steady sequence of poses that dynamically open the body for freer movement both on and off the mat. Instructors integrate specialized modifications and props to ensure every student experiences optimal comfort and physical release. Intermediate and advanced practitioners looking to refine their fundamental postures are also welcome to attend this supportive session at our fitness center.
Après Ski Yoga
Conclude your day on the mountain with our specialized Après-Ski Yoga sessions, hosted in the comfortable atmosphere of the Living Room. This gentle, all-levels vinyasa-style practice is carefully designed to accommodate everyone, from alpine athletes to casual resort guests. Together, we will flow through sequences engineered to build internal heat, vitality, and metabolic energy while intelligently toning the core and developing balanced muscle strength. It is the perfect therapeutic stretch to recover after a demanding day of outdoor recreation.
Animal Flow Yoga
Incorporate innovative functional movement into your fitness routine with Animal Flow Yoga, a modern bodyweight practice inspired by fluid animal locomotion. This creative, high-energy class offers a dynamic approach to physical conditioning by seamlessly combining structural elements of traditional yoga, ground-based hand balancing, athletic parkour, and progressive calisthenics. It provides an excellent full-body workout that improves agility, core power, and multi-planar flexibility at our premier Vermont sports facility.
Vinyasa and Restorative
Experience a balanced yin-yang approach to mind-body wellness in our integrated Vinyasa and Restorative yoga class. Gentle modifications and posture variations are provided throughout, making this class highly accessible and rewarding for practitioners of all skill levels.Instructor Bios

Having immediately connected with the focused flow of her first Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga class in 2008; by Spring 2011 Sally completed Level I, Level II, Assistant Training with Baron Baptiste and received a 200 hour certification from Lifeline Power Yoga, registered with the Yoga Alliance. In April 2013 she completed a 500 hour certification with Live Love Teach. Sally is demanding and motivating, yet sensitive and patient. Kellie - Pilates instructor
Kellie grew up taking ballet, skiing, playing soccer, lacrosse and running. Years later she found herself in Boulder CO as a rock-climbing instructor and the assistant manager of an indoor rock-climbing gym. There she took her first Pilates class where she was reminded of her youth and love for the art of Ballet. She immediately inquired about how to become an instructor. She started teaching in Vail, Colorado in 1996 and has taught in Tahoe, Martha's Vineyard, Reno and now here in Stratton, Vermont. Kellie has over 3000 hours of Pilates training. She enjoys the work, how it makes her feel and the gift it is to share with clients. She has now woven nutrition practices with her Pilates work personally as well as professionally.
Mike Mackey - Animal Flow
It was a yoga class on my “off day” at the gym over 20 years ago that transformed my life. With many years of excellent mentoring, I cultivated a mindful movement practice by consciously connecting my mind, body, breath, and spirit. As my yoga journey expanded, I was drawn to hot, power vinyasa which appealed to the athlete in me as it pushed me with challenge and growth. It was under the guidance of Polly Schmid, that I passed the Baptiste Yoga Instructors course, and was fortunate to be part of such an unbelievable and beautiful community of yogis she built for more than 10 years in Jamaica Vt.
I am passionate about assisting others to explore their mind-body connection. The goal is to assist with rebuilding a mindful approach to movement, that encourages ease and flow on their mat and as they move through daily life. Designed for all levels, expect our practice together to incorporate elements of Baptiste flow, as well as other yoga styles and movement modalities – all designed to build strength, balance, and deep focus on the body, mind and soul.
