Yes, after signing your wedding contract with our wedding sales manager, you will be assigned one of Stratton’s professional wedding coordinators to support you through the planning process and ensure your wedding weekend runs smoothly.
Are there rehearsal dinner and brunch venue locations at Stratton?
Yes, there are a variety of different locations to host your friends and family at a brunch or rehearsal dinner. Check out the Venues page for more information.
What is included in booking a wedding at Stratton?
All weddings booked at Stratton receive an attrition-free room block with a specialty group rate for all guests. Prior to your wedding, Stratton hosts a complimentary menu tasting for the wedding couple. Stratton also provides a complimentary one-night stay for the couple on their wedding night.
How many guests can each location comfortably accommodate?
Stratton has a variety of locations with various capacity levels. Overall, Stratton can accommodate 20-200 of your closest friends and family.
Are there nearby hotels and discounted room blocks for me and my wedding guests?
We have a large variety of hotels and condominiums across the resort that can accommodate each of your guests' specific needs and requests. All lodging properties provide parking. Check out the Lodging Page for more information.
Do you have a required vendor list, or can we pick our own vendors?
We have a recommended vendor list based on previous weddings and other events that know the mountain well and have a great understanding of our venues. You are welcome to use your own vendors based on your needs, however.
Do you have in-house catering, or must we use a preferred list of outside catering?
We have a professional catering team at Stratton that will provide excellent service for each of your events on the mountain.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely, our catering team is incredibly accommodating to all dietary restrictions and will work with your event coordinator to ensure all guests' needs are met.
Do you provide linens, tables, chairs, and dinnerware, or must those be rented?
Yes, the site fee for each location includes linens, tables, chairs, dinnerware, and more.
What is the rain plan (or inclement weather plan) for an outdoor ceremony?
If you choose to book an outdoor ceremony location for your wedding, we will provide an inside alternative to ensure your wedding day continues smoothly during inclement weather.
Is there sufficient parking available for all guests? Is there a fee for parking?
Stratton’s lodging properties each have their own free parking, as well as free general lots across the resort.
If we choose a vendor not on your preferred list, are there any extra fees or requirements?
No, we allow vendors outside of our preferred vendor list.
Does Stratton have after-party locations?
Yes, there are a number of after-party locations to keep the party alive.
How many people do your shuttles hold?
We offer 25 passenger shuttles for each wedding; these shuttles loop across the resort to ensure your guests do not need to drive to the ceremony or reception locations
Are dogs allowed on the resort?
Yes! Stratton is a very dog-friendly resort that allows dogs at Black Bear Lodge and on the gondola for summit ceremonies.
How late can our wedding go until?
Weddings at Stratton typically end at 10pm. Our venues could extend to 11pm with an additional fee.
