Saturday, September 6th

Stratton Mountain, the Manchester & the Mountains Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Battenkill Valley Runners and the Manchester Lions Club have partnered for the second year running to revive this major destination running event.

The Maple Leaf will begin and end at the Manchester Parks and Recreation Center, snaking its way through Manchester along backcountry roads and Vermont Route 7. A celebration will be held with food, beverages, music and an awards ceremony immediately following the races.

All proceeds from the day will go to the Manchester Lions Club. For over 55 years the Manchester Lions have lived up to their motto "We Serve." The Lions focus on helping those in need; families and individuals with medical problems, school and educational programs, youth scholarships and area recreational needs. Locally, the Lions fill the unmet needs of our deserving neighbors through the dedicated efforts of their volunteers and the support of the local community.
