Hemmings Motor News Presents The New England Concours d'Elegance

This classic show is open to all pre-1983 domestic and foreign cars, trucks and motorcycles and promises to be one of the largest gatherings of collector vehicles in New England!

Event Information

 

 

FRIDAY, JULY 18

 

12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Opening Event - Start your weekend with a cruise-in at the Hemmings World Headquarters in Bennington, Vermont. Lunch will be served. Meet the staff of Hemmings Motor News. Tour the museum and visit the car lover's store.

 

3:00 p.m. Green Mountain Rally - Join our rally up the famous Ethan Allen Highway (Route 7A) with our staff as we embark on this historic weekend. After settling into your accommodations at Stratton Mtn., enjoy the village with dinner and entertainment at your leisure.

 

 

SATURDAY, JULY 19

 

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Cruise-In Spectacular - This show is open to all pre-1983 domestic and foreign cars, trucks and motorcycles. This promises to be one of the largest gatherings of collector vehicles New England has ever seen.  Last year there were more then 500 cars in attendance! Concours cars to be displayed.

 

3:00 p.m. Judging - An informal judged show that presents 48 awards in 24 different classes to 1st and 2nd place winners.  The winning cars will be featured in the pages of Hemmings Motor News.  New for 2008 will be the addition of 6 classes for European car and motorcycles.

 

4:00 - 6:00 p.m. - Live Music in the Village

 

7 p.m. Gourmet Dinner available with guest speakers, to be announced.

 

 

SUNDAY, JULY 20

 

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The New England Concours d'Elegance - (On the golf course at Stratton Mountain)  Open to concours-quality collector cars, by invitation only.  Submit potential canditates to: rlentinello@hemmings.com

 

2 p.m. - Concours Judging and Awards, with the winners appearing in the pages of Hemmings Motor News and Hemmings Classic Car
