Hello Stratton friends. We are receiving a bit of snow fall this wintery Monday morning. This new snow should soften up the current surface, and give us great carving conditions for the day. Last evening the grooming team combed 75 trails with fresh corduroy; including Standard, West Meadow, Drifter, Yodeler and Black Bear. We are looking at temperatures in the high 20s at the summit and high 30s at the base today with and possible lift delays due to high winds. The current temps as of 6am are 25 at the base and 17 on top.
Sunbowl is now closed for the season along with the Nordic Center and Tubing. However, weather dependent, Sun Bowl may open next weekend. Confirmation will come later this week.
Safety Message: Respect gets respect. Play safe, play smart and enjoy the mountain.
