Good morning Stratton friends! We collected some snow in the past 48 hours, so today we are skiing atop 6 inches of powdery snow. Overnight our grooming team covered 63 trails with corduroy. If you are looking for smooth lines be sure to check out, Upper Standard, Sunriser Super trail and Yodeler. If you enjoy moguls, there are plenty covered in soft snow. You can find some of these great bumps on World Cup, Stevek and Upper Liftline. The weather today is going to be beautiful, with clear sunny skies, temps averaging in the low to mid 20s, and moderate 25mph winds. Current temperatures are 10 degrees on top and 16 at the base. Do be aware of changing weather conditions through the day as we predict more snow to begin falling later in the afternoon. Have fun out there!
March is here, and there is so much to do! The 24 Hours of Stratton lets you team up to ski and ride the mountain for a full 24 hours. Help raise money for the underprivileged youth in Vermont while skiing in this FUNdraiser on March 21. You can also sign up for a chance to win some cash at the 2015 Vermont Open on March 12-15. There is $20,000 in prize money as well as live music performances and an all-around great party!
Safety Message: Be aware of changing weather conditions. Play safe, play smart, and enjoy the mountain.
