Vermont Snow & Weather Report

Mountain Update

It's official! We're opening for top-to-bottom skiing and riding this Saturday, November 28. Snowmakers have been working around the clock since Sunday evening pumping over 250 snowguns non-stop and covering ample amounts of terrain for opening day. Make your first turns of the season on Black Bear, old No. 8, Runaway, Lower Tamarack and Village Walk. Jib your heart out on a progression park on Village Walk and enjoy lunch in the newly renovated Base Lodge. The Gondola, Ursa and the Cub Carpet will spin from 9AM-3:30PM.

Look out for celebrations all winter long, starting with the Annual Gobble Gobble Wobble 5K race to benefit local food pantries Thanksgiving morning. We invite everyone to come out and work up an appetite, then head to Table 43.1 for Thanksgiving dinner. As always, stay tuned to our snow report for updates as they happen and join us in celebrating the start of another epic Stratton winter!
