Happy Winter Solstice everyone. What a great snow filled surprise to officially kick off winter. The forecasted 10% chance of precipitation turned into continuous flurries all throughout the day. And to make things even better the snow is going to fall all night. Tomorrow’s temperatures are forecasted to be in the high 20s at the summit and low 30s at the base. You can expect cloudy skies with periods of snowfall. Come on and start winter right with a few runs on the hill and a little holiday shopping in the village; tomorrow’s going to be a great day at Stratton.
The Nordic Center will be open tomorrow with 12km of terrain, open to adventurous cross-country skiers and snowshoers alike.
