Thank you for considering one of Stratton's Seasonal Programs! We are so proud of the participants who over the years have become top notch all- mountain skiers and snowboarders, nationally recognized freestyle competitors and alpine racers. In fact, this past spring, our own Brittany Loweree was named to the U.S. National Team after a strong showing at the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team selections event in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
In addition to the competition training line-up, Stratton provides exceptional season-long programs for the non-competitive skier and rider interested in improving their skills on the mountain and meeting lifelong friends while having a ton of fun! Within our coaching staff you will meet many Seasonal Program graduates who have gone on to participate in our TIPS (Teen Instructor Program) where they have learned the skills to become instructors and coaches, going full cycle!
Stratton Seasonal Programs also serve as feeder programs for the internationally recognized Stratton Mountain School, located here at the Resort.
Over the years many Stratton Mountain School graduates have posted impressive results, earning national titles and Olympic medals. Current SMS students participating in the inaugural 2011 Youth Winter Olympics in Austria include Spencer Shaw (US Snowboard, Rookie Halfpipe Team), Serena Shaw (US Snowboard, Rookie Halfpipe Team), Nicholas Krause (US Ski Team - Development Team), Libby Gibson (US Ski Team - Development Team), Skyler Davis (US Ski Team), Heather Mooney (2012 Winter Youth Olympic Team), Patrick Caldwell (2012 Winter Youth Olympic Team), Piera Hudson (2012 Winter Youth Olympic Team - New Zealand).
We look forward to having you ski and ride with us this winter! Should you have any additional questions please contact Charles Jacobson, Seasonal Program Manager.
