Early Season Race Camps
The Stratton Race Camps are for High School skiers (ages 14-18) who are looking to learn or brush up on racing skills before the High School Racing season or Ski Team try-outs get underway.

Each weekend session, starting Friday evening when athletes have a chance to meet the coaches, and ending Sunday afternoon, will include race techniques, gate training, video analysis, dry-land training, nutrition and more, with a focus on getting High School skiers a jump on the Race Season. Saturday and Sunday lift tickets, breakfast, lunch are included. Athletes can attend one or both sessions.

Friday Evening
7:00pm (optional): Meet the coaches
Saturday
7:30am: Breakfast at Cobb’s Market in base lodge
8:30am: Dry-land training (Warm-up and Stretching)
9:00am: Drills and skills. Video
Noon: Lunch at Cobb’s Market
1:00-3:00: Brush gates training. Video
4:00: Tuning class and video analysis
Sunday
7:30 am: Breakfast at Cobb’s Market
8:30am: Dry-land training (warm-up and Stretching)
9:00am: Drills and skills. Video
Noon: Lunch at Cobb’s Market
1:00pm-3:00pm: Starts drills, skill development (with free skiing)
3:00pm Video review and camp summary
Campers must:
- Be able to ski most black diamond trails in parallel most of the time, and all blue terrain in parallel all of the times
- Have a signed waiver
- Must wear a helmet at all times, and have adequate protective gear, as listed below
Camper's equipment requirements:
- Dry-land training gear - sneakers, shorts, sweatpants, and sweatshirt
- Warm winter clothing, gloves and helmets
- GS Skis and Poles
