Young Gun

After an amazing 2005 – 2006 season, Spencer Shaw wowed the audience and fellow competitors at Burton’s New Zealand Open, as the youngest competitor to qualify for the semifinals. Spencer’s international achievement follows two seasons of podium placements, including first place finishes in the USASA Revolution Tour Mt. Hood Junior Halfpipe, USASA Nationals (Breaker Boys) in Slalom and Giant Slalom, and the USASA Southern Vermont Series Overalls in Halfpipe and GS/SL. Spencer was also picked as “Best Snowboarder” in the 2005 Sports Illustrated Next Snow All-Stars.
