Stratton Mountain Resort: Come Ride with Us

Stratton Mountain, VT-   It’s a beautiful summer day in the heart of southern Vermont’s Green Mountains.  Warm morning sunlight bathes the open road, the occasional cloud passes behind striking mountain peaks, and it’s time to fire up the bike and go for a ride.  Vermont is often hailed as the best motorcycling destination in New England and filled with beautiful scenery, varied topography, and hundreds of miles of challenging roads that twist and turn through some of the state’s most scenic areas!

In the same spirit that spurred Stratton Mountain to open its doors to snowboarders, the mountain is now encouraging motorcycle riders to come and use Stratton Mountain Resort as a destination and jumping off point for all of their Vermont riding.  Local Stratton riders have long known about the bounty of amazing roads that navigate covered bridges, traverse farmland, and snake through mountains and river valleys.   Starting this year, Stratton will be offering guided tours of the area’s best runs and routes, leading groups on trips to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, covered bridge rides, Green Mountain tours and gap runs.  The tours are offered daily through the summer and break up appropriate groups by ability level and preference.  The tours are based on availability and by reservation.

Stratton Mountain is the highest peak in southern Vermont and home to a four season resort complete with a range of conveniently located accommodations, a European style village with shops, restaurants, and bars, hiking trails, paintball, nearby swimming and fishing, a health club, and much more.  Additionally, there is ample covered parking at Stratton so riders can rest easy, enjoy the nightlife, and relax knowing their bikes are safe and in good condition.

Radical riding routes, awesome accommodations, and gnarly nightlife can be found at Stratton Mountain Resort, conveniently located in central/ southern Vermont on scenic Route 100; just a short ride from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and New York.
