Drysdale Tennis School receives high honors

Named as one of the best Tennis Camps in the World by Tennis Resorts Online

STRATTON MOUNTAIN, VT, May 23, 2011 – The Cliff Drysdale Tennis School at Stratton Mountain Resort recently picked up high honors in Tennis Resorts Online’s annual listing of the top tennis camps and resorts of 2011. The rankings are a result of over 2,500 reviews submitted by passionate tennis players across the country.

The Drysdale Tennis School was named the second best overall Tennis Camp in the country, as well as the second Best Resort Tennis and Instruction Program and second Best Resort Junior Tennis Program. Tennis Resorts Online is an independent publication that is the recognized authority on tennis clubs and resorts in the USA.

“We are extremely proud of these rankings and they are a true reflection of how dedicated our staff is in helping others to learn and improve” said Scott Colebourne, Director of Tennis. “Our goal is improvement, and enjoyment and this is proof that we provide it in all areas of our programs”

Many of the sparkling reviews on the Tennis Resorts Online page for the Drysdale Tennis School focus on the knowledge and instruction of Colebourne and his staff in both the adult and junior programs. This was reiterated by TENNIS magazine naming Stratton Mountain Resort a Top Five family tennis resort in their November 2010 issue.

“I am delighted that we were recognized in adult and junior camps, we place an equal emphasis on both and strive to excel in our on-court performances. No other resort can claim we what we have, with award winning adult and junior programs, in such a beautiful setting.” stated Colebourne, whom is busy preparing for the Drysdale Tennis Schools third summer season at Stratton Mountain Resort.

The Drysdale Tennis School boasts a full program of activities set at the base of Stratton Mountain across fifteen outdoor and two indoor courts. Camps, clinics, private lessons, team training, and social events are in abundance on the calendar, which has expanded to include Pro-Am events, USTA tournaments, and Legends Weekends with Cliff Drysdale himself, whom will make Stratton his home for two months this summer.
