Snowboard Comp Teams


For athletes ready to take their riding to the next level, these programs offer lots of options to get them there!

 

Southern Vermont Series (Ages 8+) 8:30 am - 2:30 pm:  For the strong riders who would like to develop their skills and compete at local events.  This program focuses on developing overall riding as well as all aspects of the competitive skills: Half Pipe, Slope Style, Giant Slalom and Boarder Cross. Athletes will have the opportunity to compete at local USASA Southern Vermont Series events.  I

In session from 8:30 to 11:30 and 12:30 to 2:30, ALL WEEKENDS from November 27 to March 27, as well as Winter Break (December 26-January 2), Martin Luther King Day (January 17th) and President's Week (February 21-25),

 

USSA Series (Ages 15+) 8:30 am - 2:30 pm:  For the expert riders who are committed to competing in the Southern Vermont Snowboard Series.  The Team will develop the skills needed to compete in Half Pipe, Slope Style, Giant Slalom and Boarder Cross.  Competition coaching is provided at all USASA Southern Vermont Series events, as well as selected USSA Regional Events (i.e. Race for the Cup, Eastern Regionals, Eastern Grand Prix).  Members are also able to attend Friday coaching sessions throughout the season. 

In session from 8:30 to 11:30 and 12:30 to 2:30, FRIDAY* to SUNDAY from November 27 to March 27, as well as Winter Break (December 26-January 2), Martin Luther King Day (January 17th) and President's Week (February 21-25).  (*Program does not meet 12/25/09.  Non-holiday Friday coaching starts at 9:00)

 

Snowboard Comp. Alpine Training Mornings (Ages 8+) 8:30 to 11:30:
Join the Stratton Snowboard Competition Team for the morning Alpine Race/Gate Training. 

In session from 8:30 to 11:30 ALL WEEKENDS from November 27 to March 27, as well as Winter Break (December 26-January 2), Martin Luther King Day (January 17th) and President's Week (February 21-25),

 

Competitions:  The team will have coaches at the Southern Vermont USASA Snowboard Series for Slalom, Giant Slalom, Half Pipe, Slope Style, and Bordercross competitions. Below is a link to the USASA Snowboard Series Schedule:
