Allegro Program Competitive Teams:
The Allegro Program at Stratton is a weekend seasonal program for skiers ages 8-18.  The program begins the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend (11/19) and runs through the last weekend in March (3/29), as well as Christmas Break (12/26-1/4) Martin Luther King Day (1/19) and President's Week (2/16-20).  Instruction is from 9am to noon and again from 1pm to 3pm.

The Allegro Program is for girls and boys with abilities ranging from advanced intermediate to expert.  The coaches emphasise mogul and fall line skiing, preparing the athlete for competitions.

But beyond the punch in and take a group skiing till your shift is over, Allegro skiers become part of a ski family. Skiers participate in group activities after skiing such as ice skating parties, pizza parties, new years jumping display under the fireworks, some join Summer Ski Camps out west, and water ramping in Lake Placid. This kind of ski atmosphere is not offered in any other program at any resort to date.

This unique program's success spans 25+ years and is home to some of the most experienced ski coaches in the US and has graduates that have excelled to the US Ski Team Olympic level.  The coaching staff includes: former and recent Olympians, Olympic coaches, World Champions and current US Ski Team members. Most of Allegro's 25 plus coaches have devoted over 10 years with the program and have received the highest level or training offered.

Athletes will have the opportunity participate in competitions throughout the East. As the athletes' skiing and competition levels advance, there successes could culminate in national and international competition invitations.

Allegro B-Team Training: this non-competitive team trains with the B-Team, receiving a variety of high level competition coaching as opposed to the same group each week. We encourage all non competitors to compete at the B-Team event at Stratton, the Stevek Mogul Challenge.

Allegro B-Team: Competitive B Team  athletes compete at Eastern Qualifying Series (EQS) Mogul Events in Vermont, starting with the Stevek Mogul Challenge held on World Cup in January.  The events lead to championship events throughout NY and Northern New England. The B Team is headed by former World Champions, current Team members and National ranked former and present mogul competitors.

Allegro A-Team: Competes at all ECS Mogul Events in the Eastern region, including the Second Annual Mogul Fest, held on World Cup in early January. This is a high level of training and competition, athletes on the ECS circuit compete for a spots at championships, national, and international events and maybe a spot on the US SKI TEAM, but  most ski because they love it. A Team is headed by two former Olympians, current and former US SKI TEAM members.
