Little Crossroads

(Ages 5-7) Level 5+ Skiers. 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. & 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. - For kids who are skiing most of the mountain in a parallel and are ready to spend more time on the hill.  Program includes two sessions per day, 8:45 to 11:45 and 1:00 to 3:00, as well as a Nastar Season Pass.  Participants have the opportunity to try snowboarding from time to time during the season- equipment rental cost is additional.  The optional lunch and supervision is available from 11:45 to 1:00 at a cost of $25 per day.  Skiers level 5+.

    Synergy

     (Ages 7 to 13) 8:45 am – 3 pm: "When the whole is greater than the sum of the parts."  This program is for children aged 7-13 who are strong all mountain skiers. It introduces children to the multiple disciplines of skiing, including racing, bumps, park and pipe, trees and steeps. Children will have the opportunity to work with coaches who specialize in each discipline and will ski with the same group of coaches through out the season. Build a foundation of fundamentals and become a versatile, well rounded skier! Skiers level 5+.

  • PEAK - a NEW PROGRAM for Teens

    Preparing Excellent All-Mountain sKiers
    (Ages 13 – 18) 8:30 am – 3 pm: Peak, previously referred to as DUST, is a program for teenagers looking for an aggressive ski group that will challenge them in all aspects of the outdoor sport.  With an early start, other skiers will have to catch our dust!  This all mountain ski program will include skiing in the trees, moguls, parks, and Nastar course, the best that Stratton has to offer.  Snowshoeing and Après-ski activities will be offered periodically throughout the season.  As a high-level program, participants will obtain knowledge of the mountain, expert skiing abilities, and respect for other skiers. We hope that teens will take advantage of this unique opportunity to spend their weekends outdoors with their "Stratton" friends.  (8:30 am to 11:30am - 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm)

    Allegro

    (Ages 8-18) 9 a.m. to 3 p.m: Offered to the high intermediate to expert skiers, this non-competitive program focuses on all-mountain skiing with an emphasis  on skiing moguls, learning skills including proper line, edge control and air. This unique program has been at Stratton for over 25 years and is home to some of the most experienced ski coaches in the US, including former Olympians, Olympic coaches, World Champions and current US Ski Team members.  For Athletes who wish to compete in bump events, we offer the Allegro Competition Team.  Program includes two on-snow sessions per day, 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 3:00, as well as a Nastar season pass.

  • Freeskiing (Park and Pipe)

    (Ages 10 – 18) 9 am to 3 pm:  For the advanced skier, this program is a "new school" park and pipe ski program, utilizing Stratton's award winning parks.  Skiers will develop all mountain skills, but the focus is on learning to ski in the half pipe, ride rails, and "go big" in a structured setting.  There are two on-snow coaching sessions per day: 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 3:00.

  • TIPS

    Teen Instructor Program at Stratton

    Teens interested in becoming Ski Instructors, this program is for you! Teen skiers between the ages of 13 –17 are eligible for qualification to participate in Stratton Ski School's Junior Instructor Training Program. Five weekends in a row, sessions will be balanced between classroom settings and on- snow activities. Curriculum is based on written material and methods of the Professional Ski Instructors of America.
