Allegro's Mt.Hood Summer Ski Camp

All of the arrangements have been made and this year's Stratton Mountain Allegro Mogul Camp and it is sure to be the highlight of our summer. This years "Top Gun Staff" is ready to rock Mt Hood; our camp and is filling up fast and the current projection is the camp will sell out. Don't miss out on this awesome opportunity to live and train with a member of the US Ski Team and/or your Allegro Coach. No other current mogul camp can offer the dorm life experience or supervision from such an elite staff.  In addition, this camp offers more on snow days then other camps and is several hundred dollars cheaper.

This summer, the Allegro Program looks forward to its 10th season of training on the Mt. Hood Palmer Glacier, in Government Camp, Oregon. The minimum age for the Allegro Mogul Camps is 12 and all levels of coaching are provided. (If you are younger than 12, please call Tony)  Your Allegro Coaches are ready for action and looking forward to preparing the athletes to excel in the 2011 Competition Season. This summer looks to be an exceptional one; Mt. Hood has already received well over a 150 inches of snow this winter, and we are on schedule to be on the outside Beans Lane.   This year's dates are:

Camp Overview:
The Allegro camp delivers a unique experience of training, adventure and dorm life with your Allegro Coach and US team members, while incorporating a strict "Supervision Policy".  Each day, Athletes wake early to complete a run, stretch and workout before taking to the hill. The skiers are on snow, training from mid-morning to early afternoon, followed by adventure sports activities before dinner. The evenings bring mandatory room/group yoga and advanced video review of the morning training, which all leaves little room for down time!

Coaches rotate groups daily and each athlete receives high levels of coaching, training and attention. In addition, each training day has a theme and focus, such as "Speed Day" or "Air Day". All athlete condos have at least one full-time Staff member living with the athletes, compared to other Mogul Camps that have none.

As always, Allegro Mogul Camp runs under the Mt Hood Summer Ski Camps umbrella. Mike and Lynn Annett are looking forward to new and familiar faces. The camp price is divided into two parts: one portion is paid to Stratton Corporation and the other is paid directly to the Mount Hood Summer Ski Camps. Parents are responsible for signing and returning both Stratton and MHSSC release forms.

Camp includes:
All meals, lodging, lift tickets, transportation, trampoline training, video analysis, most afternoon activates and the finest coaching found on any Summer Glacier. Campers will take home a disc of their documented training runs. (Note: Camper's flight is not included)

Advanced Training Plan: In order to keep up with all activities, campers must be in top physical shape before arriving at Mt Hood. This year training program is designed around each camper's level and ability. All training plans are for the serious competitor willing to learn, develop and follow the coach's path throughout the mogul camp.

Afternoon Activities:    There are a variety of afternoon activities that we may take part in, including: Rock Climbing, White-Water Rafting, Paint-Ball, Surfing, Golf, High-ropes, Cliff Jumping, hiking, swimming, movies, yoga and trail running
