The only way to play this very difficult driving hole is to aim just inside the stream protecting the left side and hit a hard 'cut'. There is more room to the right than you would imagine, and in this manner, you take the trouble out of play. From the right side of a sloping fairway, you would play a fairway wood or long iron from a 'hanging' lie, downhill to a green that's reachable in two. Birdies and eagles can be made here, but too often the stream creates the possibility of double bogies.
