The 5th hole of the Mountain Golf is the longest in the state of Vermont. It plays 621 yards from the Blue tees. The tee shot requires a long drive favoring the left side of the fairway to avoid the stream which runs the length of the hole on the right. The second shot is played from a down-hill lie, it requires you to carry it over the stream which crosses the fairway 200 yards from the green. Be sure and take enough loft off the down-hill lie to navigate over the stream and to the fairway. The third shot will be a short to mid-iron into the green which measures over 40 yards front to back. The green is bunkered well on both sides. Take your two putts for par and be happy. A par on this monster is a good score any day!
