Today’s conditions held up beautifully with sunny skies and mostly machine groomed surfaces. Tomorrow we are expecting more sun in the morning. Then, in the afternoon, the snow is predicted to start falling for a forecasted foot of accumulation for Tuesday. Temperatures tomorrow will average 12 degrees at the summit and 15 degrees at the base. With low winds averaging at 15 mph, we do not anticipate any delays for our 9am load time. We plan to have 90 trails open in the morning, that includes top-to-bottom novice skiing, groomed steeps, mogul fields and don’t forget about our 5 terrain parks.
Eveyone here is getting super stoked for the weekend. Want to know why? Because the Burton Mountain Festival is coming to Stratton! The events will begin January 30th and run through the 1st of February. Members of the Burton crew will be hanging at Stratton’s base area for three days with demos for you to try, tips and pointers for you to learn, and some sick swag for you to win. So to all you Stratton riders, be sure to check out all of the events happening on and off the hill this coming weekend.
Safety Message: Obey all posted signs, ropes and boundaries. Play safe, play smart and enjoy the mountain.
