USASA Snowboard and Freeski Series

The USASA Southern Vermont Snowboard and Freeski Series returns to Stratton for 5 events - three rail jams and two boarder/skiercross competitions. As the second largest of 35 regions throughout the country, the USASA series has established a sound reputation by offering fun, fair events in a relaxed competitive atmosphere. Riders and skiers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

The rail jams will take place on Suntanner, where Bubba and the park crew create a sweet rail arena with different lines for all ability levels. Each event will feature a modified set-up.

The boarder/ skiercross take place on East Byrneside on the custom terrain course. An exciting event to watch, skiers and riders race down a terrain course four at a time with the top two finishers advancing to the next round. Course features include banked turns, roller and tabletops.

All events are followed by an awards ceremony and prize raffle in the courtyard (weather permitting - back up is in the base lodge). Finishers earn point towards USASA Nationals Championships.
