Our History
     First Run, the longest running and largest ski shop in the Stratton Village since 1977. First Run will outfit your adventure with the best in gear, apparel, service and expertise, whether you're alpine skiing, snowshoeing or just getting away from the fast pace of life be sure to make First Run Ski Shop your first stop.

     First Run is your on-mountain hub for everything outdoors with tips on the best ski trails, gear advice, and the ability to get you and your family ready for the best time while visiting the mountains. Together, the First Run team has more than 100 years of experience and every product in the extensive inventory has been put to the test. We only sell what we own - or would love to own - ourselves.

Super Selection
    

     First Run offers fine apparel from many companies such as Ibex, Icebreaker, Spyder, Marmot, Salomon, Rossignol and many more, we are sure that you can find something that you cannot live without. Are you looking for footwear? First Run has a selection that is sure to keep your feet comfortable, dry and looking good with brands like Merrell, Salomon, Sorel and Bogs.

Ski Boots

    Wander up to the second floor to find the home of The Boot Lab, the areas premier spot for boot fitting. You can rest assured that the team will be able to get your boots comfortable and give you the ability to achieve the best performance. Visit The Boot Lab page for further information.

Skis/Test Center

        If you have interest in testing the latest technology in skis First Run is the place to go with the great selection of skis offered from Rossignol, K2, Dynastar, Line, Scott, Elan and others. With direct access to the slopes out the back door, the ability to test several models back to back is done with ease . With the test program the test fees are then applicable to the purcahase of a ski package if that is what you are looking to do. (some restrictions apply)
