Did you know? You can fish, paddle or just plain explore Gale Meadows Pond outside Bondville where you will see both Stratton and Bromley mountains, cinnamon ferns, beaver dams... You might be luckily enough to catch a great blue heron flying back to her nest to feed the babies.

Join one of our experienced tour guides to take a leisurely paddle at Lowell Lake State Park. Lowell Lake, only a short ride from the Stratton Village, is a great spot to view some of the Vermont wildlife and unusual fauna while paddling around the small islands. We provide the transportation, so leave everything to us and enjoy the adventure!

Just kidding! Join the latest in fun and fitness with a Stand Up Paddleboard, now available for rent by the day – or the season -- at First Run in Stratton Village. The fast growing sport got its start in Hawaii back in the 1960s, and now you can take out for the day right here in southern Vermont. Give it a try!
