It's Insanity at the Sports Center this summer! Beginning in July, the Sports Center is conducting 2 Insanity class series. Insanity is a high-intensity one-hour workout in a class format. The 6-week series will give you a chance to dedicate yourself and track your progress. Classes vary in length from 30 minutes to 50 minutes.
Insanity is based off of Max Interval Training. With traditional interval training, you do short bursts of high intensity training followed by longer periods of rest. With Max Interval Training, we reverse that and do long bursts of high intensity training followed by very short periods of rest. The result is burning more calories during your workout and more calories after your workout. Insanity will improve cardiovascular fitness, strength, agility, and aid in weight loss goals.
Series 1: Starting Monday July 22, every Monday and Wednesday at Noon until Wednesday August 28
Series 2: Starting Tuesday July 23, every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30pm until Thursday August 29
