Congratulations. You are about to become a part of Stratton history by registering in the first annual 24 hours of Stratton. A super fun skiing / snowboarding weekend long party event designed for people of all ages (kids, parents and grandparents). Don’t PANIC! Nobody has to ski for 24 hours. This is a team event. A team consists of a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 12 people with one person at a time racking up the runs from noon on Saturday March 23, 2013 to noon on Sunday March 24, 2013.
Join the kickoff party Friday night in the Main Base Lodge with great music, food and drink. Athletes will be able to sign in and pick up their welcome package. Have fun and enjoy the night because you don’t have to wake up early Saturday morning. Start time is at noon and there will be fresh corduroy at the start.
The base lodge will remain open all night, there will be live music in the base area and a B-B-Q on Sunday afternoon at the end of the event to celebrate the efforts of all athletes, volunteers and spectators and give out well earned awards.
Speaking of awards, there are lots of ways to win the 24 Hours of Stratton event. The grand prize goes to the team that raises the most money for The Stratton Foundation. The grand prize is a trip…Are you sitting down…
IMPORTANT – The winning team must raise a minimum of $25,000 to receive this grand prize. If the team that raises the most money does not reach $25,000 there will be no grand prize awarded.

The 24 Hours of Stratton is raising funds for The Stratton Foundation. The Stratton Foundation is a 501c3 corporation that raises money to give financial relief to individuals and families that are directly affected by hardship or disaster and to support other organizations that improve the quality of life in southern Vermont. In 2011-2012 The Stratton Foundation started the Hurricane Irene Relief Fund and raised over $450,000. In addition, they reached out to 300 people and distributed funds to 48 families, 20 businesses and 10 local volunteer fire departments spanning 13 towns to help repair, rebuild and replace what was lost.
By registering for the 24 Hours of Stratton, you are committing to raise a minimum of $250 for The Stratton Foundation. So long as you raise the $250 minimum there will be no charge to participate in this incredible event. Registration and fund raising are quick and easy using the link below. Once you have registered, we will automatically create a donation page for you. You can send that link out to everybody you know and get them to sponsor you. So long as you raise $250 it won’t cost you anything to participate in this spectacular event. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Please note that when you register you will be asked to enter your credit card information and you will be charged $1. This will be credited to your $250 minimum (Only $249 to go). If you do not raise the $250 minimum by March 20, 2013 your credit card will be charged the balance.
