Great snow, skiing and riding are just part of a happy holiday at Stratton. From pre-Christmas to the new year, we've got celebrations and festivities planned for the whole family. See a listing of daily events and activities.

Cocoa and Free Family Activities

Daily December 26 to 31

Daily treats, crafts and things to do for kids. It's all free, to make your holiday that much sweeter.

Free Hot Cocoa, 9 to 10 am. Base Area
Sugar on Snow, 1 to 2 pm. Underneath Grizzly's Deck
Children's Crafts and Activities, 4 to 5 pm. Junior Ski School Lower Level. Crafts include cookie decorating, ornament making, and a variety of holiday crafts.

Live Music

December 27, 28, 29 & 31
Head to Grizzly's for live music for almost every apres. Music is free, family friendly and features bands like Jeff Tuohy, the Don’t Leave Band and more. See all live music at Grizzly's and the Sun Bowl Base Lodge.

Free Evening Activities

December 26 to 30.
Part of our celebration of yoga, nature, joy and relaxation, these evening events are free and open to everyone during the Om for the Holidays festivities.

Warm Your Hands & Warm Your Heart, with Beryl Bender Birch. An invitation to slow down, breathe and enjoy the moment. Thursday, December 26, 7 - 8:30 pm, at The Living Room.
Om for the Holidays Celebration. Friday, December 27, 7 - 9 pm, Base Lodge.
West Coast Swing. A freestyle form of dance, no partner required and beginners are welcome.Saturday, December 29, 7 – 8:30 pm, at The Living Room.
Everyone's Drumming. An interactive drumming experience for people of all ages. Sunday, December 30,  7 - 8:30 pm, at The Living Room.

These events are part of Om for the Holidays, a 3-day schedule of unique yoga and hopping classes and new experiences.

World Snowboard Day

December 30

Celebrate snowboarding, its lifestyle and its culture in a day-long, global event. Stratton's version has free snowboard lessons, movie premieres, prizes, a raffle and more. See the schedule for World Snowboard Day.

New Year's Eve

Ring in 2013 with fireworks, family activities, food and late night music, on New Year's Eve.

Free Party and Family Fun Activities, 7 to 9 pm. Base Lodge, East Wing.

First Night Family Buffet Dinner, 7 to 10 pm. Base Lodge, West Wing.
