"We have just returned from our fifth trip to Stratton, and we have had the best snowsports experience ever during our recent time on the mountain.
From the moment we arrived early on Monday, trying to beat the storm, Janie and her colleagues in the Welcome Center bent over backwards for us. They greeted us with smiles and then arranged convenient parking and a super-early check-in to our condo that allowed us to enjoy nearly the entire arrival day on the slopes, and in the comfort of our rooms, while the storm
dropped 9 inches of snow.
The ski rental process was seamless, and although we had to wait in a long line for skis, we were greeted by cheerful, informative staff. Tomas and his colleagues answered our questions with patience and a smile.
With excellent lessons provided to the newest skiers in our family, even our most tentative family members were able to progress past the bunny hill. All three of our new skiers were able to ski the entire Tamarack area by the end of the week, riding the lifts and exploring on their own. Thanks to Barbara in the ski school for her patient coaching of a tearful new skier!
From the guest support person getting coffee in the village, to the lift operators in the learning area, to the security officers in the parking lot, to the condo property manager, to the safety patrol with whom we rode the gondola, each and every Stratton employee with whom we spoke was friendly, informative and engaging.
