Recycling/Solid Waste Reduction

• Stratton currently implements a single stream recycling process allowing all recyclables to be collected in one container before being picked up by Casella Waste Managment.  No sorting required makes it easier for employees and resort guests, leading to a higher recycling rate.
o The resort currently recycles 25% of its solid waste and has a goal of 107 tons in 2009, which would be a 20% increase from 2008.
