The Stratton Fresh Tracks Initiative
"Fresh Tracks" means continuously finding a balance between fun and accountability. While enjoying our mountain home, we maintain a deep respect for the power and diversity of this place and all that share it with us. The Stratton Fresh Tracks initiative was unveiled on February 25, 2006 during Stratton's Sustainable Slopes Day with the intention of defining and centralizing Stratton Mountain Resort's commitment to the natural environment.
The Stratton Mountain Community has earned recognition for environmental excellence, including four Silver Eagles, two Vermont Governor's Awards and Landowner of the Year from the Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife. As stewards of Stratton Mountain it is our policy:
• To protect and enhance its natural state and geographic surroundings.
• Endorse and implement the environmental charter of the National Ski Areas Association.
• Apply the latest technology to ensure that nature and our resort co-exist in harmony.
• Engage the community to create a resort where economic vitality and environmental sustainability are in balance.
• Enhance the guest and employee experience in ways that reflect principles of environmental integrity and respect for Stratton Mountain's cultural heritage.
