Stratton means a mountain of adventure for the whole family. Great memories, outstanding people, and one of the most beautiful locations on Earth inspire our community. 

Big mountain skiing and riding, slopeside Village, snow school and childcare programs (for as young as six weeks), and scores of activities provide the start of a great family vacation.

In fact, the readers of SKI Magazine give Stratton Mountain a Gold Medal for Family Programs, as well as for Grooming, Lifts and Terrain Parks.

The slopeside Village is lined with shops and restaurants ranging from kid-friendly to fine dining. On-Mountain accommodations include cozy lodges, full-service hotels, and spacious condominiums (kitchen, laundry, fireplaces).

Activities and events include wildlife workshops, the Poppy Town Puppets performing in the Base Lodge, "Dinner and a Show" evenings with comedy, magic and storytelling plus:

Sports Center with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, massage, classes, courts, and equipment.

Mini-Z snowmobiles for children in the base, and real deal snowmobile tours in the surrounding forest.

Snowshoe guided walks, backcountry tours and moonlight treks (headlamps available) to the Pearl S. Buck cottage for hot chocolate by the big stone fireplace or to the historic fire tower that delivers a view clear across four states.

Two Nordic Centers feature more than 30 k of groomed trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
